Artwork
- Through my art, I intend to convey the sense that spirit
- pervades all life on this planet - a belief that has always
- been an intrinsic part of my being. The visual artwork that
- I create embraces this philosophy, often in the subject
- matter and always in my approach to create the art. It was
- once asked me while I was painting Sunday in Central Park -
- "how do you know what colors to use?" To which I could only
- reply that the tree was directing me. There were no visible
- signs of any connection, but I felt then what I always have
- felt - that we are all part of the same fabric at our most
- elemental level. It is this energetic interconnectedness where
- spirit weaves its "magic," allowing unspoken communication
- between all things just as the tree and I had been doing.
- All I have ever had to do is to listen hard enough and be
- willing to look inside to hear. The ability to do this and
- to recreate what I see and feel is one of the gifts that
- The Great Mystery has bestowed upon me. Sharing my work is
- my way to honor and give thanks to the divine in all things.
